Apparently the main female character in Blood Diamond is a human rights journalist. Which is what I plan to do when I'm older/wiser/more wrinkly/etc. Not because I love journalism, but because I have this internal sense of obligation to the world. Because someone needs to.
Anyway, I guess that means I have to watch the movie now. I've been putting it off, because I watch movies to get happy, not sad. But Lauren says it has a happy ending. Even though she's probably lying, I'm going to choose to believe her.
It's late. I should sleep now, but I don't want to. I officially became a Spartan today. That was weird. But nice. It brought me one step closer to you.
