If, six months ago, someone had come up to me and told me the following things, I would have never believed them:

1. You will be living in California in August
2. You will be attending MSU in the fall
3. You will have a boyfriend
4. Your mother will know about that (very white) boyfriend
5. Your hair will be short
6. When you look out your window, you will see a valley and city lights, not a (real) tree in sight

I would have laughed. I would have laughed and laughed. And then I would have told that someone to shut up.
